What Makes Our Brand Sustainable

After years of searching, I finally found a manufacturer who takes being sustainable seriously and I began our brand journey using Kin Custom to produce our apparel.

Their items are OEKO-TEX certified. OEKO-TEX sets an international standard for "products that are harmful to health, environmentally friendly, and manufactured in a fair way." The materials used to create our products are STANDARD 100 certified meaning that every thread, buttons, accessory, etc. has been tested for harmful substances and does not contain any hazard to human health. The inks used on these materials are ECO PASSPORT certified by meeting the criteria of an ecological manufacturing process and tested for harmful substances.

Once an order is placed, designs are printed onto the material(s), cut, and sewn and handmade by in-house experts. This minimizes environmental impact and waste. There is no excess stock or mass production.

In 2023, Alias Unknown uses four different manufacturers to make our expanding products. The facilities are owned and operated by Kin Custom in Quanzhou, China to ensure ethical business practices are followed and work environments are safe & sanitary. They work with the SEDEX Members Ethical Trade Audit (SMETA) to guarantee that employees lead health, safe, and dignified lives.

Even the packaging for every garment is recyclable and made from 100% recycled materials. Currently orders delivered inside the United States using our free shipping option are carbon-neutral.

Each item is made per order and 100% print guarantee. Yes, your items will be printed, cut, and handmade once you have completed your purchase. With that said, please plan accordingly when ordering. Our merchandise may take up to 3 business days to produce before it is shipped. You should receive an email with tracking information within 48 hours of shipment.

Return Policy

Due to the nature of our products, we can not exchange items, accept returns, or issue refunds. If your items were damaged en route or there was a printing error on your product(s), please contact info@aliasunknown.com. We offer a 100% print guarantee and will get that fixed right away.
